Tuesday Morning Series of Minor Mishap

Usual commmute to work.

Palabas na ako nang bahay nang nagsimulang umulan. Great start! I still decided to walk from home to MRT North Avenue (like I usually do) dahil may payong naman.

Pagdating ko sa ticket gates sa station, paalis na ung train, so next train na lang. I got on the train… Then on Quezon Avenue station nawalan ng power. =)) Panalo. 15minutes (for me) of sauna inside the train. Dito makikita mo kung gano matiisin ang Pilipino. Well, wala rin kasing announcement agad kung bakit nahinto. Na-amaze ako nang may nag-announce na “anytime” pwede bumalik sa normal ung operations. :)) Dahil di ko makayanan ang init at one hour na lang at ma-le-late na ako, I decided to took the bus.

Habang pababa ng stairs, na-realize ko, nagsimula na pala ang school year so expect traffic.

At dahil sa init, aircon bus yung pinili ko. Haha, lahat ng stops (kahit hindi bus stop) nahinto ang bus. Huhu. Panic mode. Jk. Chill lang but I was thinking how can I get faster.

With only 13minutes left before 11am,  nakapag-drop off na sa tapat ng Megamall footbridge, at ginagawa pala sya… So the next footbridge ay sa Shaw Boulevard station. Di ko alam, but with slightly aching feet and legs (due to last weekend adventure),   nagawa ko pang tumakbo. Hahaha, what I truly miss from running. 🙂 Buti na lang wala nang ulan nito.

Yun lang. Ligo sa pawis ang itsura. Made it just in time.

Back to Square One

It is almost two months after I started in my new workplace.

Some former colleagues said “same old faces”… but I have nothing to do with it. I just needed a new environment.

Dream vs Reality

I got a little dilemma tomorrow but of course, I need to choose for which is more attainable.

Dream. As a game show fan, I always try to register to join the show. 🙂 Since KDOND came back, as soon that registration methods were announced, I immediately registered to be a studio contestant. And yesterday, I received a text message!!! My number got selected (of course there were many of us) for pre-qualifying screening for KDOND. I was very happy and got excited right away. But unfortunately, my schedule for screening is tomorrow. I really wanted to go!!! Previously, also tried PGKNB. Unfortunately I was not selected OR I was just unlucky because I

Visit to the Asian Mall

June 21 was the date when I went to the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) using public transportation for the first time. 😀 Hahaha, getting away to SM North EDSA which is a block away from our home. We took MRT to Taft Avenue station and then bus to MOA. Together with a few friends, we wandered around the mall, walking endlessly, making us very tired at the end of the day. Besides from walking, of course our tummy would get hungry. Actually, right after we arrived and since it is was lunch time, the endless walking started because at first we can’t decide where to eat. 😀 Can I miss my favorite lemon chicken? 🙂 After we ate, we started walking again, haha. Everyone wanted to watch a movie but we have different films on mind. I would like to watch sana ‘The Happening’. 🙂 I was very curious of what was the ‘happening‘ on that movie. The choice ended up considering our common interest and we watched ‘Made of Honor’. The film is good and a little bit funny, but I can say it has the same guy-loves-girl-best-friend type of story.
